Where to Stay

We’re focusing our activities in Downtown Las Vegas on the original strip, Fremont Street.

We’re splitting our time between the two hotels, so you really can’t make the wrong choice!

We’ll be arriving Thursday, October 20th, and departing Monday, October 24th. Stay as long or as short as you’d like. We’ve made a list of recommendations for all our favorite spots.

Please note: Our two hotel recommendations are both 21+

The Vintage Vegas.

Pros: Oldest in Las Vegas, Cheaper, free parking, East Fremont location.

Our favorite old-school option when staying in Downtown Las Vegas! It’s in East Fremont, only a six-minute walk to Sure Thing Chapel, Mothership Coffee, and Atomic Liquors. We’ll be staying here Saturday night!

We recommend staying in the “Tower Premium” suites as they’re newly renovated. For a quieter stay, choose “Mountain View” which faces north away from the strip.

El Cortez Hotel & Casino

The Upscale Vegas.

Pros: Newest in Las Vegas, huge pool, crazy good air filtration.

Our favorite brand new, upscale, modern resort in Downtown Las Vegas! It features an incredible pool, delicious food options, and stunning views. We’ll be staying here every night except Saturday!

Only a fifteen-minute walk to Sure Thing Chapel, though it should be noted that navigating the Fremont Street Experience can take time on a Saturday!
